We meet at The Corn Exchange, Cupar on the second Tuesday of each month , except for July and August. Members enjoy quality lectures on all the expressive arts.
We generally select speakers from the Arts Society London's list of accredited lecturers. The lecturers provide high quality presentations on all aspects of the visual arts and are truly experts in their chosen fields. We have a varied programme of lectures covering all aspects of the visual arts, architecture and music. Our lectures cover a wide range of topics. To find out more about our lecture programme, click on Lectures where you will find information both past lectures and those that are coming up.
Tea and is served at the end of every lecture, providing an opportunity to meet new people and to engage in discussion with fellow members and the lecturer. This is a great way to make new friends and make new connections.
We are not just about lectures. The social aspect of our society is an important part of what we do. Study Days and cultural trips add variety and interest. A selection of visits is offered each year, often to places of interest not normally open to the public. There is at least one full Day of Special Interest on topics which are often related to previous lectures.
Opportunities are also available for members to volunteer for local arts and heritage projects such as - Church Recording, Heritage Volunteering, Arts Volunteering. (for more information on these volunteer opportunities, click on Volunteers).
